Applying for a Grant

Full-time or adjunct faculty interested in receiving an Online Course Development Grant must download and complete the grant application form (available here in PDF format). The OCD grant application requries the following information.

  • Faculty's name and contact information
  • Course Title and Description
  • The potential market for the course
  • Determination of course type: either an "Online" course or a "Online Self-paced" course.
  • A list of applicable training or experience using online instructional tools
  • Signature of School Chair or Dean of Instruction indicating support for the project

Successful OCD respondents are expected to develop and teach an online course in the Blackboard Vista 4 environment.

Applications due by April 18, 2008

Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on 4/18/ 08. The review process will begin immediately thereafter and all awards will be announced by May 7, 2008.
