About The LTC
The Learning Technologies Center (LTC) is committed to advancing the use of new media and digital technologies in the educational programs at Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community and Technical College. The LTC is committed to extending the population of involved faculty by:
- providing a broad range of access to new multimedia technologies
- conducting workshops and demonstrations on new multimedia technologies and Blackboard Vista
- writing online documentation
- managing the Online Course Development (OCD) Grant Program
- managing the Extreme Course Makeover (ECM) Grant Program
- providing individual consultations
The center and staff are managed by Dr. Roxann Humbert, Director of Learning Technologies. The center is open M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and other times by appointment. For more information, contact Learning Technologies Center at x4067.
