Migrating a Section from Vista 3 to Vista 4

Verify that everysection listed in the Summer 2008 schedule of courses that has your name attached appears on your MyBlackBoard.

Follow the instructions found in the Vista 4 Survival Guide to prepare your course for migration.

Once your section is ready for migration you can access the migration request form here or via the Vista 4 Survival Guide.

Please read the instructions on the migration form and follow them carefully to avoid any delays in the migration of your section.

You will receive an email from the tech folks when they have completed the migration process. Please take a look at yourclasses and note any problems. While we hope that migration requests do not take any longer then 24-48 hours, they may take as long as 3-5 days.

Migrating a Section from Vista 4 to Vista 4

Verify that everysection listed in the Summer 2008 schedule of courses that has your name attached appears on your MyBlackBoard.

The cleanup required when migrating a section from Vista 4 to Vista 4 requires only that all sign-up sheets in your course be deleted. The presence of a single sign-up sheet will cause the migration process to fail.
