RESOURCES

The Center for Teaching Excellence offers faculty a large array of resources, including teaching equipment and aids, a lending library, a number of resources for campus-wide initiatives, 'How-Tos', awards and grants, and information about the Veterans History Project. In addition to these, the Center provides a lounge area where faculty can find a quiet place to think, prepare, share ideas, have a cup of coffee, or just relax!

THE VETERANS HISTORY PROJECT -
In 2004, Dr. Nancy McClure initiated the Fairmont State Veterans History Project, which is part of a national effort to record the experiences of veterans and civilians who served during wartime. The Project has become an out-of-class learning experience for many Fairmont State students, as well as faculty and community members. If you would like more information about the Project, contact Nancy McClure or Stephanie White. Interested people can also view information and archived interviews at the Library Congress.
