Meet other local Scrapbookers for conversation, fellowship, inspiration, and fun! Come to our Scrapbooking CROP to swap techniques for preserving your treasured moments, share keepsakes, and trade tips!  We have ample table space and a great atmosphere for a day spent scrapbooking with old and new friends.  Come for a couple of hours or stay for the whole day.  Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for this event!  There are even door prizes given away throughout the day.  Refreshments provided.  Instructor: Cooper

Learn How to Scrap 101
Scrapbooking is no longer construction paper and tape or just putting your photos in an album. Now you'll find scrapbook stores all over the country, thousands of products to choose from, and techniques to learn to make the most of the hobby of scrapbooking.
You don't have to be creative to create wonderful scrapbooks. This class will cover choosing the basic scrapbooking tools and teaches you how to use them as well as some easy techniques and basic layout design.  Instructor: Cooper

This course is designed to teach you the basic techniques used in jewelry making.  Learn how to use crimping, jump rings, clasps, basic wire work and finish techniques.  At the end of the class, you will have completed a necklace and earrings for yourself or to give as a special gift.  Instructor: Angotti

Wire Jewelry Wrapping
Learn how to wire wrap to create your own pendants for necklaces or for rings. We will a use freeform wrapping technique which can accommodate almost any size or shape of stone. You will wrap both flat and irregularly shaped stones and leave with a wire wrapped pendant to show off to your friends. All supplies included although you can bring your own stone if you have a favorite.  Instructor: Angotti

Masterpiece Jewelry Theatre

Sketch Artistry II

Stained Glass 101
This class will teach the basics of the foiling method of stained glass.  An introduction to glass working tools, various types and styles of glass, cutting methods, grinding, use of patterns foiling, soldering and use of patinas will be covered.  Participants can choose from select patterns and will take home finished products.  Tools will be available for classroom work.  Glass must be purchased separately (you can bring your own, or it can be purchased from the instructor).  Tools and supplies will be provided (also available for purchase if desired).  Wear old clothes.  Instructor: Wright

Basket Weaving

Beginning Tatting
Learn to make lace with a thread and shuttle. Tatting is an 18th century form of lacemaking that originated in Europe. Open to anyone who wants to get started or build their skills.  Instructor: Miller

Bobbin Lace
Bobbin lace (or pillow lace) takes its name from the way it is made: on a firm pillow to which a pricked-out pattern is tacked and each twist of the bobbins is held in place by a pin.  For all its intricate and elegant appearance, there are only two different movements of bobbins in the formation of the lace: the twist and the cross.  Make a bookmark in this weekend workshop.  Class is open to anyone who wants to get started or build their skills.  Instructor: Miller

Native American Folklore & Art Series
Come and discover the rich heritage of Native American Craft.  In this class we will create a medicine pouch, a medicine wheel and a petroglygh project.  We will also delve into the traditions and folklore of Native Peoples.  This class is taught by Winter Dawn, a Lakota Artist, whose sculpture is showcased in the American Indian Smithsonian Museum.
Material fee of $25 payable to the instructor the first night of class.
