Philip is an associate professor of architecture, in the Department of Architecture + Graphics.  He also serves as Chair of the Department.  Philip teaches design studios in both the undergraduate and graduate programs and directs the Community Design Assistance Center (CDAC).  Prof. Freeman is an award winning architect and complements teaching through architecture practice.  In his practice he has been involved in projects totaling over $400 million, and was the project architect for WV’s largest LEED Gold certified private office building.
