Mark D. Wolf received his B.A. from Fairmont State College and his M.A. in Career and Technology Education from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. After graduating from FSU, he taught in public high schools in Baltimore County, Maryland for 7 years.  During this period of time, Professor Wolf supported two Advanced Science courses in Engineering and Information Communication.  He was recognized by TEEAM and awarded the Outstanding High School Teacher Excellences for 2005.  In 2006, Professor Wolf was recognized by the ITEEA for Teacher Excellence in Technology Education.  His best awards received during this period of time were the success of the students seeking out colleges and Universities in the fields of Engineering. Working his way back to the mountains allowed Professor Wolf to accept a Middle School Technology Education in Garrett County, Md. for the last four years of his teaching career.  During this period of time, Professor Wolf was required to develop a Pre-Engineer Curriculum for Middle School Students. This 6-8 Technology Education Program would become a feeder program to support student success in the high school Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering Curriculum.   Professor Wolf is continually working with extra-curricular clubs and activities supporting the movement of Technology Education for students and professionals in his region.  He has worked with students in Maryland Engineering Challenges, First Robotics Vex Teams, and Sea Perch Submersible ROV (Remote Operated Vehicles).  “The goal has always been to promote Technological Literacy to support students learning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)fields.  Students truly do grow into amazing and successful citizens when Technology Education is introduced to them in the classroom- We need more teachers in this field of study. “
