Morris has been a member of the biology faculty since 1994. He holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Clemson University (1989). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University (1990-1994). He regularly teaches anatomy and physiology, technical microbiology, biochemistry and other general science courses. He advises the school's premed majors. His research interests include cell biology, immunology and human degenerative diseases.
I have learned much from my students. I have learned to enjoy the interaction with students. Their youth and enthusiasm is a great influence and one of the best parts of my job.
I get to teach a number of the allied health students. They are motivated and hard-working. They make teaching a joy.
