Pierpont Continuing Education, located at our Veteran's Square facility in downtown Fairmont, provides a secure, proctored environment where various tests for certification and licensure are administered. We have partnered with industry-leading computer based testing companies to provide a wide variety of in-demand examinations.
Registration, check-in and testing requirements vary per vendor. We strictly adhere to these standards, which can be found below. It’s Your Life, Take Credit for it. The DSST credit by exam program gives students the opportunity to receive college credit for life experience as a form of prior learning assessment. Recommended for credit by the American Council on Education, the 38 exams are offered in diverse subject areas such as health, ethics, finance and technology. The DSST program is owned by Prometric, the global leader in testing and assessment, and has been placing students on the fast track to college degrees since 1986. Fairmont State University’s School of Nursing and Allied Health has made the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test results part of the admission requirements for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program for all students applying for acceptance starting with the 2007 Fall Term. You register for the test date you want and pay for the TEAS test online here. You may take the TEAS test twice per calendar year. REFUNDS GIVEN UP TO 10 DAYS BEFORE THE TEST DATE. |
