The HEPC (West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission) and Office of International Student Services will jointly sponsosr its 3rd GlobalWV Training and Networking Event at Fairmont State University on April 10, 2014.
The themes of the event are "international student retention strategies" and "financing for nontraditional study abroad students".
All higher education institutions in West Virginia are invited to participate in this event, which is free of charge. Activities will include a presentation by Grace Atebe, Assistant Director of the Office of International Students and Scholars at West Virginia University, a live webinar conducted by NAFSA, and a networking lunch.
Networking lunch will be held between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Presentation on Best Practices and Strategies by Retaining International Students (Dr. Grace Atebe) will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Live NAFSA Webinar Training will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Post-Webinar Discussion will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
