Biography:
I am a Fairmont native, having graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 2000. I attended Yale University to pursue my undergraduate degree in psychology. I have always loved this area, so after graduating, I moved back to Fairmont. I decided I wanted to pursue a career as a physician and began inquiring about the prerequisites for admission to medical school. After comparing my options, I decided to fulfill the two years of prerequisite courses I needed at Fairmont State University. I have been at Fairmont State for three semesters now and I am excited to begin applications for medical school.
What do you like best about Fairmont State?:
I have had wonderful professors here. Every professor has been extraordinarily accessible and friendly. They genuinely want their students to learn and succeed.

Fairmont State provides a solid education in the sciences I will need for medical school, while being affordable and close to home.
