Are you a digital person or a paper person? Fairmont State makes it easy for you to apply on-line or on paper. Everyone seeking admission to Fairmont State must complete an application. So whether you are transferring or looking to enroll straight from high school, you must apply. See Application Process below.

  1. Submit a completed application by March 1 for priority consideration.
  2. Take the ACT or SAT and have the official scores sent to Fairmont State.
  3. Have official copies of high school and/or college transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions.
  4. A Fairmont State health form is recommended for all students and required for health careers and teacher education majors. The form must be signed by a physician.
  5. If you were born after January 1, 1957, you must provide official proof of immunization against rubella and measles.
