SECURITY OF CAMPUS FACILITIES

Campus facilities are secured at the end of each day's activities. Only faculty, staff and students with proper authorization are permitted in facilities after they are secured.

Police Officers, Student Security, and Building Services Workers maintain surveillance over building security.

There are three residence halls on campus. Throughout the day, each hall's main entrance is monitored by a Residence Director, Resident Assistants (RAs), and hall monitors. At midnight the main entrances are secured. Other entrances and exits are secured at dusk and kept secure through frequent patrol by Resident Assistants. The doors are also configured with alarms that sound if they are opened, thus alerting the RAs and hall monitors as well as residents that security may be compromised.
