This vitual tour project was conceived by Dr. Ravic
Ringlaben as a way to introduce others to the riches that lie within
the walls of the Snodgrass One-room Schoolhouse Museum on the Fairmont
State University campus. In the Fall of 2003, Mistie Manning and Nathan Dillon,
Honors students enrolled in Dr. Valerie Morphew's Introduction to Education
Honors Online class, chose to bring this idea to fruition. The students
visited the site, researched available data, photographed significant artifacts,
and developed web pages for this site. Thanks to Dr. Ringlaben's vision
and the work of Mistie and Nathan, others can now explore the Snodgrass
One-room Schoolhouse in the virtual setting and learn more about teaching
in days past. If you wish to arrange an actual tour of the Snodgrass
One-room Schoolhouse Museum, please contact the Dean's office at 304-367-4241.
