BACHELOR'S DEGREE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All applicants seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program are required to:
1. Meet the general admission requirements of Fairmont State University as described in the college catalog.
2. Hold a license to practice as a registered nurse in WV.
3. Submit application for admission designating Baccalaureate in Nursing as major field of study to the Office of Admissions. The following information must also be submitted:
A. Official high school transcript or GED scores.
B. Official college or diploma program transcripts.
C. A short resume including education and work experience since graduation.
D. Evidence of current CPR certification must be provided prior to beginning clinical courses.
4. Complete lower division requirements successfully.
5. Have transfer courses evaluated by the Office of Admissions.
