OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Business Education Comprehensive degree program of study is offered in conjunction with the School of Education and strives to provide graduates with the competencies needed to be qualified educators who are prepared to meet the needs of the public school systems and to gain an education that allows them to become effective teachers, certified through state and national guidelines.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN SECONDARY BUSINESS EDUCATION
Individuals completing a B.A. in Education with a business education teaching field will be able to compete with graduates of most colleges for positions at the middle school, high school, and technical school levels or compete for positions in industry, federal agencies, and/or enter graduate school.
