OVERVIEW OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROGRAM
The Associate Degree in Information Systems Technology program provides students with the training of CISCO networking infrastructure, desktop computers and peripheral hardware. This program plays a critical role in providing students with skills and knowledge to implement new IT technology.

Employment Opportunities: A wide variety of businesses are seeking network administrators, Help Desk Technicians, PC Maintenance and Repair Technicians, and Network Consultants. Demand for qualified information technology workers is expected to double in the next 5 years.

Course work to prepare students to take the following exams: CompTIA A+, and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is available in this program.
Computer Networking Certificate Courses:
INFO 2250—Networking Fundamentals
INFO 2251—Router Theory and Configuration
INFO 2252-- Advanced routing and switching
INFO 2253—Project Based Learning
The above 4 courses will prepare students to take CCNA certification exam.
CompTIA A+ courses
INFO 2205—PC Hardware and Software
The above course will prepare students to take A+ certification exam.
