OVERVIEW OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAM

The criminal justice program at Pierpont Community and Technical College provides students with a broad orientation to the entire system of criminal justice. In order to provide for persons with various backgrounds, career aspirations, etc., the program allows students (with advisor approval) some flexibility in structuring the curriculum to meet their individual interests and needs.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE

Individuals who successfully complete this program will find many employment opportunities such as: local, county and state governments, security agencies, and social service agencies. They may also find employment as police officers, correctional officers, security/loss prevention officers or private investigators.
