Satisfactory student performance on the direct assessment measure will consist of:

1. work collaboratively and responsibly with other theatre professions (actors, directors, designers, technicians, playwrights, management) to create theatre    
2. make and defend decisions about design and performance based on text, audience, research, social/political/cultural/historical perspectives, theatrical conventions and trends    
 3. apply choices to design and performance    
 4. write and speak coherently about theatre as a process, in response to that process and in response to production    
5. adapt and apply theatre concepts and conventions to situations outside of  traditional theatre (education, recreation, business).

  • Classroom assessment
  • Progressive portfolio Semester 4
  • Junior/Senior Professional Development Seminar
  • Senior Capstone Project and assessment portfolio Semester 7
  • Professional Portfolio and exit interview tied to professional development seminar Semester 8
