Be prepared to meet the incoming expectations of the college level mathematics course(s) required for their degree of choice. To achieve this goal the students should be able to accomplish the following: ü apply effective math study skills ü apply symbolic algebra to represent and explain mathematical relationships ü solve problems numerically, graphically and algebraically ü solve linear, quadratic, radical and rational equations in one variable and solve systems of linear equations with two unknowns
