POLICY REGARDING ADMINISTRATORS TEACHING

Revised December 1999

Senior administrators or non-classified administrators at Fairmont State College shall be allowed to teach one evening course off campus during the academic year for compensation. The appropriate academic school chair must agree to and the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs must approve the assignment. If a regular faculty member can teach an overload for compensation, the regular faculty member will take precedence over a non-classified administrator.

The salary remuneration for a non-classified administrator shall be the same as that paid to regular faculty members who teach at off campus locations.
