Falcon Scholarships are offered to eligible first-time freshmen. Submit an application for admission, transcripts and ACT/SAT scores prior to December 15 to be considered for these scholarships.

To apply for all other scholarships, submit the Scholarship Application to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office by Feb. 1. The application is available on the FSU web site or at the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office.

First-Time Freshmen

2. Official high school transcript or GED (sent by high school or Department of Education) (2.0 GPA or higher)
3. ACT or SAT Scores (18 ACT or 870 SAT)
4. College Transcript(s) (if college credit was earned during high school)

Deadlines
Admission is competitive. Applications are considered according to the following schedule:

• May Admission - March 15 (application deadline)
• August Admission - June 15 (application deadline)
• January Admission - November 15 (application deadline)

Transfer of Graduate Credit
With approval, a student may transfer up to twelve graduate credit hours toward a completed degree. Apply using a Transfer of Credit Form available online.

Since 1997, two FSU faculty have been named West Virginia Faculty Merit Foundation Professor of the Year.

The FSU chemistry department places 100 percent of its students applying to top graduate programs.
